Reminders...

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend? My weather app seems to be on strike today, obviously it's fed up of this ridiculous weather system too (angry face)...

Remember, this week is a short week because we are closed on Thursday for the public holiday (labour day) woohoo! We've only just come back from Easter and I need a break already, crazy!

Furthermore, don't forget this is the last week to matricula for the next course 2014-2015 and then we are going to open it to newbies :)

Finally, we will be having our summer school in July too, so please ask us about it asap we have lots of cool ideas and fun and games planned!

Hi! 

I hope everyone is enjoying their first week back here after the Easter hols! Finally the sun has returned to Lugo for a little while today but it's impossible to know what to wear! Dressing like an onion (without the smell though) is very difficult. A good piece of advice from one of our advanced students was to wear something light but with a good coat, so far this seems to work well :)

I think this last term is going to fly by around 8 weeks depending...but I just realised next week is a short week too. Finally we have a long weekend because labour day is on a Thursday (also our longest day) which is the first one all this academic year.

Hi Everyone! 

I hope you all enjoyed your hols and rested welll??? It's back to the workhouse now, so I hope you're all ready to poner las pilas :)

It's going to be a super busy last term with people preparing for exams and kids going wild before the summer holidays, start drinking cafe cargado (extra strong coffee) because it's going to be a bumpy ride!

PenPal Frenzy!

Here's a brief catch up because these last 2 weeks have been crazy!

First, we got our letters from New Zealand and our students went crazy, I mean seriously, I think I am deaf in one ear now from the screams!

We are writing our responses this week :)

Hopefully we are going to post them on Friday (fingers crossed), this time we even have little gifts for our Kiwi friends and photos!

Good afternoon :) our five minutes of daily sunshine seems to be right now, I'm so tired of this ridiculous weather, up down, up down...I need sunshine all day every day!

Hopefully our students have done their homework and learnt their scripts for our video which we have to make today because they didn't do it for Tuesday (typical Spanish)!

On the plus side our letters arrived from our pen pals in New Zealand! The kids are going to be so excited, I can hear the screams in my head now...think I'll pop out and buy earplugs before class today!

Getting ready for Easter here...photos and 'how tos' coming soon! 

On Sunday the clocks went forward here, something I am thoroughly against since it means losing one hour of sleep, and boy have I noticed it this week. I feel like I flew to Singapore and back, as if I had jet lag or something!

What are your plans for the holidays? Mine keep changing depending on the weather forecast, which coincidently also keeps changing everyday.
